Prottoy Social Foundation an organization is a voluntary non-profit and social development organization registered with the Social welfare department of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh contributing in national goals for making a difference in the lives of population since its establishment in 2011. Prottoy Social Foundation, a fleet of professional staff specialization in the Ten thematic areas of Climate Change & Green Energy Community Empowerment, Education, Gender Justice and Diversity , Health-Nutrition and Population , Human Rights and Legal Aid Services, Humanitarian, Integrated Development, Ethnic Development and Migration as well as extensive experiences in the field of Capacity Development, Procurement, Contract Management, Resource Mobilization, Financial Management and Research, Monitoring & Evaluation. Prottoy Social Foundation direct program interventions reach in in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Banderban, Khagrachori, Rangamati, Bagerhat, Satkhira, Sirajgonj, Bogura & Kurigram district, including hill tracts and coastal belt. Currently Prottoy Social Foundation is working with a total of 0.5 million (estimated) disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
Prottoy Social Foundation has been working various Climate Change and DRR & Emergency Management related projects since 2018. Prottoy Social Foundation has also implemented the projects of To Promote Awareness in risk Communication & community engagement for COVID 19 with the support of UNICEF & The Hunger Project; Supporting Engagement of the Civil Society for COVID-19 Response Activities support of WHO & ADAB; Creating Youth Space in Preventing Violent Extremism support of Ministry of Women’s Affairs; Enhance the internal
governance processes and accountable operations and hold democratic elections for positions within the Community thus enhancing their credibility. Dependent on good governance principles like inclusion and participation are not well known or respected support of Ministry of Public administration; Disability Development Project support of JPUF.

Staff Strength:
Prottoy has a fleet of professional staff with extensive experience and specialization in the areas of microfinance, Agriculture, fisheries, health, sanitation, education, environment, community development, DRR & climate Change etc. At present, Prottoy has personnel strength of about 114 of which 33% are professionals and the rest are support/ Volunteer staff. Prottoy Social Foundation recruits its staff considering gender priority and appoints competent female candidates proportionately. The organization maintains a good ratio of male and female staff (52:48).
